THE 8 ELECTED EXECUTIVE BOARD:
President: - "Hanshi" - e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org The club president is the senior executive officer and shall provide full-time leadership for the organization and it's members. The position is to recommend, govern and implement all policies, by-laws, procedures and programs. The President shall seek the input and suggestions of the club's board and ALL members when making decisions on membership, policy changes and abide by the majority rule. The President can govern the club as they deem in the best interest of the RBLEMC. The President will cast the final vote on all ties, and oversee all meetings as per Robert's Rules Of Order. It will be the Presidents job to make certain that the entire membership and the general public both understand together; who we are, and what we stand for at all times. As the chief executive officer this person will lead all club's business, as the position and responsibility of being President is charged with. The President shall make command decisions, and has all the rights and privileges to do so without hesitation or consultation with the e-board. This person shall make appointments of personnel, (non e-board) committee leaders, and the board member who over see the numerous committees. The President will delegate duties to the membership even if it is outside of their purview in the club. They will work in conjunction with the board for the best interest of the club. This position is an ex-offico member of all committees. The position requires the President to be an active duty law enforcement officer or retired law enforcement officer as defined under LEOSA.
Vice President: -"Redman" - e-mail email@example.com The Vice-President of Rolling Badges LE MC Inc. is the second in command and shall assume all duties and responsibilities of the President in his absence and have the same authority when doing so. The Vice President shall act in accordance with the President and follow the same guidelines as the President's duties as outlined. This person will be the representative to other "Rolling Badges" chapters in other locations and will report and co-ordinate details and information so all members and chapters are of the same mind set and for the peace and harmony of all. The Vice President is also in charge of the by-law committee and will assume the duties of ANY board member if that member is absent for an extended period of time. This position requires the person to be an active or retired law enforcement officer under LEOSA. This is in the event their is need to take over the position of President for any unforeseen circumstances or they should become an acting President due to illness or resignation of the President until an official election can be held.
Commander: "Nacho" email firstname.lastname@example.org Commander is third in line in the Chain of Command and shall direct and supervise the responsibilities of the President and Vice President in their absence only. The Commander will lead and organize all rides. This person is charged with properly planing, organizing, routing, all rides to ensure that they are executed in a safe and responsible manner and that the routes taken are the best choice for all. The Commander will ride in the group with all new members and visiting members to evaluate their ability to ride. The Commander will share this important responsibility with the Lt. Commander and report it to the e-board in a timely fashion. The Commander shall work with the President and the Vice President to ensure that all rides and gatherings have organization and safety to protect the club, and others who ride with the Rolling Badges. This person will all be in charge of all new members to ensure they understand all Rolling Badge's riding procedures and rules, also that the new member(s) are determined to be a safe motorcycle rider.
Adjutant: "Paladin" email email@example.com The Adjutant will be a staff officer, who shall be responsible for making and maintaining all club recruitment as directed by the President or their designee along with any other duties assigned to them. This person will be the club's liaison officer as an LEO or retired, between us and ALL law enforcement agencies, local county, state and federal, as well as all other LE MC clubs. He will be assisted by our Vanguard who shall be an active LEO or retired. This will be to garner a valuable rapport as an LE MC and to see that as many law enforcement agencies as possible know who we are, what we stand for and what we do.
Lt. Commander: "Taz" email firstname.lastname@example.org The Lt. Commander shall direct and supervise the responsibilities of the Sergeant-At-Arms. The Lt. Commander shall work with the Commander and the Vice President of the club to ensure that all rides and events have satisfactory safety measures in place for the safety of all who ride and are present. The Lt. Commander will ride in the group with all new members and visiting members to evaluate their ability to ride and lead and plan rides in the absence of the Commander, ensuring all routes are safe and well planned.
Treasurer: "AK" email email@example.com The club Treasurer is charged with maintaining all Chapter/Club financials. This person shall be responsible for the payment of all bills and expenses including "Club House" rent or our meeting’s food and beverage needs and our cost/bills are satisfied satisfactorily and paid promptly.
Lt-At-Arms: "Shorty" email firstname.lastname@example.org The Chapter/Club Lt-At-Arms shall ensure that all By-Laws are followed and all orders and directives of the President, Vice President, Lt. Commander and the Chapter/Club Board are carried out as intended. This person must be an active duty law enforcement officer or retired law enforcement qualified under LEOSA. The Lt-At-Arms shall maintain strict compliance with the rules of the Chapter/club or the orders by the Chapter/club membership. The Lt-At-Arms as well as the Lt. Commander shall continually maintain a security and safety posture of all potential threats or safety issues affecting the Chapter/Club and its members. The Lt.-At-Arms works under direction of the President, Vice President, the Lt. Commander or their designee. The two Sgt-At-Arms work under the direction of the Lt.-At-Arms. This is an executive board position.
Secretary - "Diesel" - email email@example.com The Secretary is responsible for all record keeping of minutes and any other correspondence that is needed for the club. This position is part of the Executive Board. The Secretary will report to the President or his designee.
*** Deputy Dog - email firstname.lastname@example.org is an ex-officio board member of the e-board as one of three original founding members. Ex-officio members (3) will have all the rights and privileges of the sitting board and their term will never expire as long as they are a member in good standing in the Rolling Badges LE MC as per by-laws.
APPOINTED OFFICERS BY THE PRESIDENT:
Sgt-At-Arms: Nuce -e-mail email@example.com The Sgt-At-Arms positions are officers position and they are appointed by the President of the Rolling Badges LE MC. This position must be an active duty LE officer with powers of arrest. They shall wear the patch of this office signifying their duties. They are responsible for security at all club functions under the direction of the Lt-At-Arms. This is a one year appointment and these officers are to ensure the members and all guest are secure during our events and rides.
Road Captains, Meat, Diesel, and Chang e-mails:, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org These positions are club officers but not a member of the executive board. The Road Captains are responsible for assisting in all of the rides organization and route planning to effect a safe and efficient group movement of the members and guests during rides along with the Commander and/or Lt Commander. The Road Captains will check that all other riders are safe before the ride begins. Working as part of a team,(one cohesive group), the Road Captain is responsible for assisting in the safety of the riders and the smooth traveling of the ride itself while following the directions of the Commander and Lt. Commander. Duties include planning, thinking ahead, and communication and rider's education. The position will assist and report to the Commander and Lt. Commander, which reports to the President or Vice President. They will work together as a team in their duties so we function as one unit and we are ultimately using the best roads and riding safely in our travels. The Road Captains have the authority along with any e-board officer to abort any ride as a whole for safety reasons. They have the authority to disqualify any members or guests participation in a ride for any safety reasons they feel is a harm to themselves or any other riders who will be riding with us. When such actions needs to be taken, the cause will be immediately reported to the highest ranking Executive Board member for evaluation and later to the entire executive board as a whole and handled accordingly if they are members of either NJ/NY Chapters. The Road Captain will execute all other assignments as directed by the President or Vice President of the founding New Jersey Chapter.
